This is the first 'collaboration' with Eris, my daughter.
It is again based on a random drawing by her. This one took me about 2 hours of 're-working'. It took me a little while to understand the limitations and figure out the advantages of Crayons. Yes, it's messy, but one can be spontaneous and add layers, which are more weak but add to the color-texture and contrast. This surreal image has no title, not yet. Eris is now 19 month old.

Crayon and Pencil drawing 'light-blue Creature' This is a collaboration of Erís (my daughter) and me. She provides a random doodle with her limited abilities to hold and maneuver a marker. I then 'see' something in that chaotic drawing and work on bringing it out, put it in place, capture the energy and forms. This is very close to the order-disorder interplay I am looking for. I call these drawings also 'drive-by-drawings', because they are done quickly and in a rather messy way. I used to hate crayons...And time is limited. I have not done any artwork for quite some time. More to come...
The drawing is on newsprint, is about 5 x 5 inch.

Ältere Herrschaften sitzen auf den Dächern
um die aufgehende Sonne lachend zu begrüssen.
Wie ein Dotter schwimmt es im Horizont,
das Auge des Wesens Himmel.
Es regiert im Dom der Einzelheiten,
umgeben von Wolkensplittern,
die ausser Hörweite wie hingeworfen schweben.
